Features of the Karcher K 3.000 Follow Me Pressure Washer

The four wheels instead of two are what truly makes this pressure washer interesting. They are designed to allow the machine to follow you so that you do not have to deal with the usual interruption of moving your pressure washer as you go along. It has larger rear wheels. The front wheels are made with durable front casters. It can easily move around most obstacles while you clean so that you never have to go back to grab it. However, if you do need to move it manually around something, it is not heavy or hard to move. It weighs only 16.3 pounds and its dimensions are 21.7x12x12.8 inches.

With 1800 psi, you get a lot of power in a single pressure washing machine. This is increased even more by the fact that you get the DirtBlaster spray wand from Karcher which gives you up to 80% more power over the normal spray wand. This is a $30 value for you so that later you will not have to upgrade to get more power.

You can easily switch from detergent to a high pressure washing machine by using the included Vario Power Wand which is also included with your purchase. This gives you a very powerful, very thorough cleaning, and still much more power than your average garden hose.

The pump is maintenance free and non-corrosive. It uses the Karcher K N-Cor Pump. It is self-priming and able to siphon if you need for it to. This means that you can use water from a standing or collected water source, such as a swimming pool, instead of wasting water and running up your water bill.

All accessories are stored on the Follow Me and to change one wand to the other, all you need to do is push and click into place. To protect kids, the trigger wand does have a child safety lock feature on it.

It is an electric pressure washer, but you get a fair amount of power cord to help you move around freely. The power cord is only 15 ft, but there are some users who say that you can use an extension cord with it. The water hose gives you extra length since it is about 13ft long. With the wands, you also gain about another 12 inches of reach.

There is a detergent tank built into the pressure washer. This means you will never again have to carry around a spray bottle of detergent.

Is There A Downside?

For some people, the Karcher K 3.000 Follow Me pressure washer may seem too good to be true. When you look at the ratings, it is overall very good according to most people. However, there are some who have had trouble assembling the front wheels to it and of course, those who feel it does not have enough power.

The 1800 psi rating is powerful enough for most household cleaning chores, but it is not so powerful that you have to worry about damage to your wooden deck, vehicles, and bikes. This means, if you have some very heavy pollen on your deck or patio, you will not have to worry about damage, but it may not take it off at the first spray. This is where the detergent tank and higher pressure wands may be more helpful.

Is It Worth the Price?

If you do not have a power source near where you will be washing, you may find this pressure washer a little difficult to use because of the shorter power supply cord. If you want a pressure washer that can peel the paint off your house, you probably will not have the power that you want. Overall, though, for general or routine cleaning, the Karcher K 3.000 Follow Me is going to be a great investment for most people.
